Escape Ildon followed the two mystics through the seemingly endless cave. What was this Asellus girl thinking? The cave only lead to a bottomless pit... No, she couldn’t possibly know... Unless White Rose had told her. Was Asellus planing on following in Rei’s footsteps? But then, how did she manage to talk White Rose into going along with it? White Rose had always seemed to be one of the most loyal Princesses. All of his speculation wasn’t helping. The only way to learn the truth was to retrieve them. Ildon reached the last section of the cave just in time to hear young Asellus say, "He is not here! It was a trap!" A trap? That would mean someone else had been involved in the escape. Who were they meeting? Could it have been Zozma? Or was Ciato or Rastaban trying to get Lord Orlouge mad at him. "They’re coming after us. Let me talk to them," said White Rose. "No, I’ll fight," said Asellus, unwilling to give up her imagined freedom. Ildon had to stop himself from smirking. The girl had spirit for sure. If they ever did manage to keep the girl she would probably turn out much like Zozma. And as for the two of them. . . they’d probably love each other or hate each other... or both. "No more childish pranks. Lets go back to the castle," Ildon said, hoping White Rose would behave when faced with an order. "I’m the one responsible. Let the lord punish me, Ildon," White Rose said, still trying to protect her charge. "That’s up to Lord Orlouge," he replied. He would have said more but Asellus chose that moment to say, "I’d rather die than go back there!" Ildon looked at the girl in surprise. He saw in his head the memory of when Princess Rei had been here. Her voice rang in his ears, "I’d rather die than go back there!" and then she had -- Ildon tried to stop her but he was too slow to stop it from happening again. "Lady Asellus!" White Rose was as surprised as he by this action. Then he heard something. Something strange. A - what was it called? - airship appeared from the pit. It appeared that on her way down she had landed on it. "Sorry I’m late. Hurry, get on," said the human inside. Ildon was too surprised to stop White Rose from getting on. As the airship started to leave he yelled, "You brought a filthy machine to Facinaturu!" But the ship was gone. "My Lord will not be pleased..."
